When the users connect their Google ads accounts with Clickcease during the onboarding process, the Clickcease system automatically installs the Clickcease tracking template on the tracking template field of the account level of your Google ads account.
However, sometimes the users will need to remove the Clickcease tracking template from their Google ads accounts. In this article, we will show you how you can do that.
From the New Google ads Interface:
1. Sign in to your Google Ads account.
2. Select the Admin button on the left side panel.
3. Account Settings.
4. Tracking.
5. You will see the Clickcease tracking template on the tracking template field. (please select it and delete it)
6. Click Save.
From the old Google Ads Interface:
1. Sign in to your Google ads account and select All campaigns.
2. Settings.
3. Account Settings.
4. Tracking.
5. You will see the Clickcease tracking template on the tracking template field. (please select it and delete it)
6. Hit Save.
On the other hand, some users might have a special configuration where they originally installed the Clickcease tracking template at the campaign level. We will show you now how to remove it from the campaign level:
From the New Google Ads Interface:
1. Sign in to your Google Ads account.
2. Select the campaigns icon on the left side panel.
3. Click on Campaigns.
4. Click on the Settings Tab.
5. Locate the campaign and click on it.
6. Click on Additional Settings.
7. You will see the Clickcease tracking template on the tracking template field. (please select it and delete it)
8. Hit Save.
From the old Google Ads Interface:
1. Sign in to your Google ads account and Select All Campaigns.
2. Click on Campaigns > Locate the Campaign and click on it.
3. Once the campaign is selected > Click on Settings > Additional Settings.

5. You will see the Clickcease tracking template on the tracking template field. (please select it and delete it)
6. Hit Save.
