Hi everybody!
In this article we will discuss the different possible domain status in the Bot Zapping dashboard and their meaning.
Protected:
This status indicates that your account is fully protected, ClickCease plugin is activated and bad bots are being blocked.
Not protected:
This status indicates that the Bot Zapping activation process was not completed. Click on Product domain to copy the domain's authentication keys, and complete the ClickCease plugin activation.
Visit the following article to view the complete Bot Zapping activation instructions: How to Activate Bot Zapping
Update Available:
This status will appear when an update is required for the ClickCease plugin in WordPress. Click on Update to visit your domain's WordPress account and activate the ClickCease plugin.
Bot Zapping will continue monitoring your account even if an update is required.
Monitoring only:
This status will appear when Monitoring Mode is enabled for the selected domain. Monitoring Mode allows you to monitor your website visits activity without actually blocking the malicious bots from interacting with your website.
Click on Block Bots to disable Monitoring Mode and have Bot Zapping actively blocking malicious bots from interacting with your website.

Note: The protection status refresh rate on the dashboard is ~5 minutes, so it may take a few moments before you see the expected protection status, following the action taken (Protect/Update). Detection and block rate occurs in real-time.
