As IP addresses are dynamic and a certain device's IP will change over time, ClickCease does not block IPs forever. This feature helps stop click fraud attacks without blocking innocent customers for a long time.

We recommend that you use the default setting of 30 days, however, you can control and change this setting to any value between 1 and 90 days.

For instance, imagine an IP that clicked on your ad 4 times and the last click took place on January 1st 19:00. If you set the "Block IPs for a Certain Period" feature to 10, then this IP will be blocked for 10 days, from January 1st (when the last click took place) until January 11th at 19:00.

Please note that the IP may be released earlier if the number of blocked IP addresses exceeds 500 IP addresses.
